ERAI has had 2 offices in Brazil since 2007, based in Curitiba and Sao Paulo.

 
Since 2005,
The Rhone-Alps Region and the State of Parana signed a declaration of intention for cooperation. Since then, the exchanges with this state and its “green” capital, Curitiba, have been numerous and dynamic.

Major axes of cooperation :
 

• The economy: principally for the sectors of the environment, renewable energies and agro-foods

   

• Higher education, research and innovation: development of exchanges in the context of the knowledge economy (relations between training, research and companies), and also the professional mobility of students

   

• Agriculture and rural development, culture: numerous exchanges were initiated in 2009, the year of France in Brazil (dance, theater, exhibitions…)
