On February 12th, 2013
Due to the increasing level of trade between Brasil and France and more particularly with the Rhône-Alpes region, a business club was launched in Lyon, to promote trade flows between both countries. Olivier Costa, Lawyer Associate at the Bismuth law firm and Brasil Business Club President, Antonio Cançado, Founder of the information portal brasil.fr, Claudio Pinto, Portugal Business Club President and Director at Tecknao, and Sophie Gex, Director at Sokiwa, all members of the Portuguese community in Lyon, have implemented the Brasil Business Club with the support of the Consul of Brasil in Lyon, Mr. Jean-François Perrier.

For the 10th consecutive year, the Rhône-Alpes region is ranked 2nd most attractive French region for foreign direct investments according to the Invest in France Agency (AFII). ERAI - Entreprise Rhône-Alpes International, the Economic Development Agency of the Rhône-Alpes region, takes an active part in this dynamism: 45% of successful foreign investments are identified and initiated by ERAI before being concretized by the Economic Department Agencies whom we work closely with. The 118 investment decisions in 2012 and 4,000 jobs created on a 3 year period show the dynamism and attraction of the region with 4,600 foreign companies and 215,000 jobs. Since 2004, foreign investors have created more than 32,500 jobs through 900 projects.

From June 17th to the 23rd, 2013
The ERAI Invest team will attend the Paris Air Show which will take place at Le Bourget exhibition centre from 17th to the 23rd June, 2013. This show will once again bring together all the industry's players across the globe to showcase the latest technological innovations.
